Review by hotel critic
During my recent stay at this hotel in the heart of the old town, I found it to be an interesting inclusion in the high-priced spectrum of accommodations. Its location directly across from a notable landmark provides easy access for exploring the surrounding area—a definite advantage for travelers keen on convenience. The room was modern and bright, featuring French doors that opened onto a small balcony with a pleasant square view—a nice touch that added character. While the furnishings were a bit plain, everything was clean and comfortable. The soundproofing worked well, allowing for a restful night's sleep despite the city bustle. On the relaxation front, I tried a 45-minute massage for just €20. Although the facilities left something to be desired—the steam sauna was broken and the ice bath could use improvements—the pricing was favorable for the services provided. While the hotel presents some luxury aspects—like the attentive staff and descent restaurant downstairs—the value proposition is mixed. The elements of comfort and location are noteworthy, but potential guests should consider their expectations against slightly outdated facilities.
